How delivery, setup & pickup work.
We do more than drop off a trailer. We deliver it, place and level it, connect and verify the power, and later break it down and haul it back, so your cooler or freezer works from the moment we leave. Here is how it works, and why we handle the whole thing.
More than dropping off a trailer
When you rent a cooler or freezer trailer from B&S, we handle the whole job: we deliver it, place and level it, connect and verify the power, and later break it down and haul it back. Here is exactly what that looks like, and why we do it this way.
Delivery & setup, step by step
We bring it to you
We tow the trailer to your site anywhere across our six-state area and position it where you need it: at the back door, in the lot, or out on the event grounds.
We place and level it
A cold trailer has to sit level so the doors seal, the defrost pan drains, and the refrigeration runs the way it should. We chock and level every unit before anything else.
We connect and check the power
We plug into your 110V (20-amp) or 220V (30-amp) connection, confirm it is on the right circuit, and make sure it will not trip a breaker while you are counting on it.
We bring it to temperature
Before we leave, we set it as a cooler or a freezer, get it down to temperature, and confirm it holds. You start with a unit that is already cold and working.
We secure it
We lock the trailer with our keyed locks so your product is safe. You are welcome to add your own padlock as well.
Pickup & teardown, when your rental ends
Pickup is the same job in reverse, and it is on us. We power the unit down and disconnect it safely, secure everything for the road, and tow it back. Then every trailer is cleaned and sanitized to our own standards before it goes out to the next customer.
Power down & disconnect
We shut the unit down the right way and disconnect it from your power so nothing is damaged.
Secure & tow back
We prep the trailer for transport and haul it back to our yard.
Clean, sanitize & inspect
Every unit is cleaned, sanitized, and checked over to our standards, so the next customer gets a trailer that is ready to load.
Why pickup costs the same as delivery
Delivery and pickup are priced the same because the cost is the miles, not the minutes. It is the same truck and driver making the same round trip to bring the trailer home, and fuel is built into the price, so there are no surprise surcharges. Local delivery and setup start at $120, and anything beyond is priced by distance and quoted up front.
Why we handle the whole thing
- It protects your product. A properly leveled, power-verified trailer is one that actually holds temperature. That is the entire point of renting one.
- It protects the equipment. Correct placement and hookup keep our trailers running for years, which keeps your rates down.
- It is one less thing on your plate. You do not tow, level, wire, or clean anything. We do.
That is also why we deliver and set up every unit ourselves and do not offer self-haul: proper setup is what makes the rental work, and it keeps everyone safe.
What you provide
Just two things: a suitable power connection (a dedicated 110V 20-amp or 220V 30-amp circuit) and a reasonably level, accessible spot for the trailer. No power on site? We can refer a generator and help you size it.
